I have been interested in music from an early age and was a chorister in the choir at Chester Cathedral during the 1960's.
I was bought up listening to a mixture of classical and pop music in the Sixties from Tchaikovsky to the Beatles and in 1973 went to my first gig - Deep Purple and Nazareth at the Liverpool Stadium. Since then I have continued to attend gigs on a regular basis, writing about many of the bands I have seen as well as being a music promoter for several years. I have also become friends with many "Musos", whose pictures you can see in the picture section (when it is built!).
My Favourite bands are Wishbone Ash, Barclay James Harvest and The Who, closely followed by The Beatles, ELP, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Genesis, Iron Maiden, After The Fire, Free, Stray and U2.
My favourite solo artists include Kate Bush, Gerry Rafferty, Bryn Haworth, John Wetton, Cat Stevens and Larry Norman.
