Welcome to the website of Mark Chatterton - writer, author, broadcaster. As of 2024 Mark has written sixteen books, including books on Music, British Transport, Education and Mind, Body & Spirit. He has also written numerous sleeve notes for several muscial artists as well as contributed articles on popular music to various magazines including Q, Classic Rock and Record Collector. He has also had over thirty different educational titles published for the home learning market. In recent years he has started to write about Britain's transport system including roads and railways, having written eight books so far, plus having articles published in Railway Magazine, Traction and Railways Illustrated. As a football fan he completed the achievement of attending a football match all 92 English and Welsh football league clubs in 2011. He also has a keen interest in the world of the unexplained and metaphysical subjects and has interviewed several  authors for the website The Spirit Guides. He also has a You Tube blog channel on rock music - Mark Chatterton's Rock Files, and regularly writes a blog about his railway travels around Britain by train on his website - Branchline Britain.  he also has a You Tube channel where he interviews people with an unsual story to tell. Mark Chatterton's Look at Life. He has been interviewed several times on both BBC Radio and TV.
